Safeguarding Policy

At the Sleep and Health Clinic, we are fully committed to protecting the safety, welfare, and human rights of all our patients, staff, and visitors. As an organisation registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we operate a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any form of abuse, neglect, or harm.

Our clinical team is fully trained to recognize potential safeguarding concerns and understands their statutory duty to act swiftly, confidentially, and in accordance with local authority guidelines

Our key Safeguarding  Commitments

01

Proactive Protection

We maintain robust internal reporting procedures to identify, record, and escalate any concerns regarding vulnerable adults or children.

02

Chaperone Policy

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all physical consultations, patients have the right to request a chaperone at any stage of their care journey.

03

Safer Recruitment

All members of our medical and administrative staff undergo thorough background checks, including Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, prior to employment.

04

Accountability

We work collaboratively with local safeguarding boards, the NHS, and regulatory bodies to ensure our procedures constantly meet the highest standard of clinical governance.
